so I searched some Info´s about Matthew and well guess what - British - again...lately every Actor whom I think they´re pretty amazing and remarkable...is British. Do they have something in their genes?
And no it´s not method Acting - Tom doesn´t even practise that. Because he needs his distance to the Character. When I think about it he also reminded me of Tony Perkins, the man who played Bates in Hitchcocks Psycho.
As for the Film, I liked it very much. Gruesome but slowly developing, sensual and kind of dreamy. A little turn here, a little twist there. Even though I don´t like the end. I would´ve prefer for them to kill her Mum and riding together into the Sunset. But no she has to kill him ... even though she is masturbating in the shower while thinking of him - of his face as he is killing a guy ... well never search for logic in a Horrorfilm.
But nevertheless it was really entertaining. And the elegant Style really reminded me of the Hannibal TV Show - you don´t know this Show THEN GO AND FREAKING WATCH IT!!!!
Sorry I´m seriously hooked on Mads Mikkelsen´s Hannibal Performance. And as for Will Graham there was never a more skilled Actor as Hugh Dancy to portrait him.
