Save the Arctic

While the UN Climate Meeting is still not going anywhere a new Save the Arctic Campaign has hit us - and it´s melting the poles of our lower bodyparts

 

 

 But more important than these delicious men is their message : Save the Arctic.

"In the last 30 years, we’ve lost as much as three-quarters of the floating sea ice cover at the top of the world. The volume of that sea ice measured by satellites in the summer, when it reaches its smallest, has shrunk so fast that scientists say it’s now in a ‘death spiral’.
For over 800,000 years, ice has been a permanent feature of the Arctic ocean. It’s melting because of our use of dirty fossil fuel energy, and in the near future it could be ice free for the first time since humans walked the Earth. This would be not only devastating for the people, polar bears, narwhals, walruses and other species that live there - but for the rest of us too.
The ice at the top of the world reflects much of the sun’s heat back into space and keeps our whole planet cool, stabilising the weather systems that we depend on to grow our food. Protecting the ice means protecting us all.
To save the Arctic, we have to act today." 

Basically we are already drowning - and the time is ticking and even if it doesn´t affect us now - it will in the future. And we have knowing thisn for years already - but we did nothing. Cars, Planes and Bikes are driving as they used to. And I fear we´ll not make it. Not a few people alone. We have to be many in order to make a change. So I hope anyone who took his time reading my stupid lines will take a bit of his time to sign the 'Save the Arctic' cause. It´s about our planet and the lives of everyone who lives in it.

Goodbye High Rise ... Hello Hank Williams

High Rise is in Post-Production. It was a wrap on 24th August - together they celebrated their adventure

On the Wrap Party the actors, aside from Luke Evans who already left the Set, celebrated with the whole Staff making last memories. In September Tom is back in London, prepping for Hank Williams and having free time. The Shooting of Hank William Bio Pic 'I saw the light' starts in middle October in Louisana.

 

Which will also include singing and even if Tom doesn´t count himself as a singer, he had already country musicsessions. And is well known for his amazing southern accent. Sadly all this will get lost in german sub. But there are luckily enough cinemas including orginal tune in big movies. Let´s just hope this one will be one of them.
