Tom and again Tom

I just found myself wondering, why do I like his Loki so freaking much, well I liked him before Tom, he was this mean but funny fellar of Thor, mischief followed him - where ever he went. But still Thor is drawn to him, listening to his words. He is his buddy, even though his anger is often caused by Loki.
For me Loki was the nature of mankind, the man we still love and want to love - caused by deep feelings and admiration of a man going his way, and if his way is plasterd by corpses.

And then Tom portraited him in this romantic and tragic way - he brought him closer to the humankind, with more humanity. Craving and sad - driven and certainly cruel. But because Joss Wheadon gave him a reason - a purpose. We the viewers were seduced by Loki.

He got our pity, our love - we want him to find redemtion. We want him to realize that he is loved - that there is a way and a place for him in Asgard. We want him so be saved. It´s so pitch damn perfect written - 
it´s almost like Hannibal Lecter. You see him, you fall for him - even though you know what he is doing. And when everything comes to surface - the cruelty and pain he has caused - you come to realize - that it doesn´t matter to you - because you love him already so much - you at this point just wish that he won´t be caught.

You know he is suposed to be the bad guy, but something in your mind such switches and you find yourself voting for him. The Serial Killer. The Gangster. The Nordic God. Gosh what a line up.
And then happens something you would´ve never even dreamed of in your wildest dreams. The God of bad assery - is the damn finest, nicest and funniest guy on the whole planet. In fact, I can´t think beside of Ian Somerhalder,of anyone who is as commited and lovely as him.

His manners are superb, the way he talks and communicates with Reporters, Fans or critics is so well performed - and so damn sweet and frank that you just don´t know what to do with yourself. The Contrast is so bright that - you want to scream Loki why can´t you just be - just a little bit like Tom. And if we are there - why can´t all the people in the whole world - be a little more like Tom. The World would be so much nicer this way. He already changed me, I work on my language, on my manners and I try to make the best out of my situation.
